Onshore Wind
Origination, resource assessment, grid strategy, permitting, ready-to-build.
Wind, solar, hydro and storage projects taken from origination to financing, construction and commissioning — for governments, utilities and investors in emerging markets.
Morrigan is an international renewable energy development company established in 2016. We originate, permit and structure utility-scale wind, solar, hydro and storage projects, and deliver development management, owner's engineer and advisory mandates for governments, state utilities and investors. Our priority is Sub-Saharan Africa, where up to 20 markets are under assessment, together with the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region and Georgia, our home market. We work at ministry level as well as at project level, and deliver to the standard that international lenders require.
Every position taken to a saleable state has been sold.

Development portfolio across twenty projects
419MW
Realised through sale of thirteen project companies
75MW
Seven projects under active development
Four technologies, one method: systematic screening, staged assessment and delivery to lender standard.
Morrigan's pipeline is generated by screening rather than opportunistic acquisition: more than twenty sites screened for every portfolio, a shortlist carried through pre-feasibility, and a small number secured under government agreements and taken to feasibility. The same discipline applies in every market, whether the project is developed on our own account or managed for a client.
Origination, resource assessment, grid strategy, permitting, ready-to-build.
Utility-scale and distributed; net-metering plants delivered through commissioning.
Run-of-river site screening, feasibility, government agreements.
Standalone and co-located projects; system engineering.
Applications, compliance, testing and commissioning on the owner's side.
Thirteen proprietary projects, 419 MW, realised through sale to independent power producers, strategic buyers and financial investors.
The portfolio below is Morrigan's own record: projects originated on its own account, carried at its own cost and risk, and sold. Exits have been executed at pre-feasibility, feasibility and pre-construction, to local and international buyers. Projects originated by Morrigan have subsequently secured project financing and entered EPC tender under their acquirers. Advisory mandates delivered for third parties are listed separately and are not included in the total.

Advisory and owner-side mandates, and current pipeline
Storage increasingly determines whether a grid connection is available. We develop storage projects and engineer storage systems.
Morrigan works on two related lines: development of standalone and co-located battery storage projects, and the engineering, sizing and integration of storage systems for residential, commercial and industrial, and grid-scale use. The work covers load and outage assessment, system sizing, procurement of cells, power conversion and control equipment against bankability criteria, grid interface design, and commissioning. Storage systems are delivered with an established system-integration partner.
A stepped route from sector diagnostic to a financeable project pipeline. Each step is usable on its own.
Ministries, state energy agencies and utilities engage Morrigan where a pipeline of bankable renewable projects has to be created rather than found. Each step produces a document a government can act on and a lender can read. The steps can be commissioned separately or in sequence, and the fourth leads directly into development management or co-development of the selected projects.

Five engagement structures with defined scope, remuneration and exposure — from fee-based advice to funded development.
Independent power producers, strategic developers and financial investors entering a new market use Morrigan for the work on which their own investment decisions depend: due diligence, site selection, securing project rights, permitting and grid workstreams, and owner-side control of EPC procurement and construction.
Due diligence, market entry, financing strategy, project M&A support.
Milestone-based delivery of permitting, grid and financing workstreams.
EPC procurement, construction supervision, grid compliance, commissioning.
Origination and government interface alongside a funded partner.
Own-account projects sold at ready-to-build or later.
Africa is the priority. The Gulf region and Georgia complete the footprint. Adjacent markets follow where the regulatory framework is comparable.
Morrigan is building a renewable pipeline across Sub-Saharan Africa, with up to 20 African markets under assessment for utility-scale wind, solar, hydro and storage. Entry is through fee-based mandates with governments and utilities and through funded co-development with investors. In the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region we work with investors and developers active in emerging-market renewables. Georgia is the home market, where the company's proprietary portfolio was originated and sold and where the team's grid, permitting and offtake experience was built; the team also brings project experience from Ukraine and Germany.
We have walked the road that African power markets are on now — from chronic shortages to a pipeline that international lenders finance.
In the 1990s and early 2000s Georgia lived with chronic electricity shortages. Sector reform restored uninterrupted supply, aligned the market with EU rules through Energy Community membership in 2017 and the 2019 energy and renewable-energy laws, and produced a pipeline of wind, solar and hydro projects that international lenders finance. Our team held senior roles in the state institutions that originated and financed that pipeline. Many African markets are making the same transition today, and it is the source of our deal flow: we recognise a bankable project early because we have built such projects from the government side and sold them to investors.
